Default PS removal

I'm in the middle of my first 928 "project" and need to remove the PS pump, but I'm having a hard time figuring our how to disconnect the line at the back of the pump. There is a metal nut and tube at the back which then attached to a rubber hose with metal endcaps. Specifically, I cant get a wrench on the nut itself from either the top or bottom. Pics below. Any suggestions?

Easier with the alternator dropped. Even easier with the whole alternator/PS console (the front mounting piece) unbolted and lowered.

Those fittings are call "banjo" fittings, due to their shape. There are two copper sealing washers on each fitting that need to be replaced whenever a banjo bolt comes out. The bolts don't need as much tightening as the head size might otherwise indicate. Tip: I put a smear of Teflon pipe thread sealant on the bolt threads and on the faces of the two washers. It helps stop galling of the new washers while tightening.

Do as Dr Bob suggested remove the bolts for the front console and let it drop down out of the way .
Remove the radiator first then the alternator,
then drop the console,
now is the time to replace the curved hose to the pump to reservoir

Thanks gents, got the pump off. I did indeed have to take the alternator off to get to that little bolt. Appreciate the tips!
