I scanned original magazines purchased on eBay or in books, retouched them in PhotoShop to black and white then cleaned up the images. I used StickersBanners.com for the printing on Orajet vinyl stock.

You should clear wrap it now to protect the stickers.
Thank you. I chose not to clear coat or wrap it because I have a lot of extra stickers. As stickers weather, peel or scratch, I'll replace them or add new articles. The car will be constantly evolving as I own it. Plus, I store it in a garage and only drive in fair weather which will minimize sun exposure as well.

Well done. I can see that same as any passionate artist, you put your heart and soul into the project and it shows in every detail. I love the fact that you did the fenders under the hood all the way to the edge. Nice touch. Me thinks she belongs in a museum somewhere. Now you are going to worry every day about some D&(*&*(kHead slamming a door against it or a shopping cart.

Beautiful job,

It looks terrific. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the event due to a prior engagement. However, I look forward to becoming more involved in the 928 community.

excerpt from website: Full color Porsche emblem on intake replaces two tone emblem. This was the original combination in launch press photography.

Since it's clear you appreciate details, the crest used on the intake was aluminum w/ black, on the earliest press cars.

Only time I've seen color inlaid crest was early stock photo of a stand-alone engine.

Awesome car art! Way to represent the 928! Think you need to get this car in as many shows as possible to provide some unique PR for the 928's heritage. I could see it sitting on the fairway green at the Amelia Island Concours some day! They always have such a variety of cars, including those with a unique perspective.

Thanks for the update, I do appreciate it! That stand alone engine picture is what I'm referring to on my website. As I was working on the concept and car, it gave me a feeling that this car was destine to become a press tribute... even though it may not be 100% product correct.
