1982 4.5 motor with a 3 speed automatic trans (no auto opt in the req fields) is in wine red (color code 895). There are 2 full binders of service records, upgrades and original owner paper work including the original window sticker.
It has 170XXX miles and runs great. I can provide engine maintenance and timing belt info if you would like. It has a professionally installed good lower mileage trans including a new filter, pan gasket and complete fluid flush. It works perfect.
It has the late model wing, Momo shifter ****, rear wiper delete, brand new battery, steal braided trans lines, late model steering wheel, tinted windows, headers with full Bolra exhaust, Sounds FANTASTIC! Staggered rims, rears are 10" wide and will fit 245-265 before rubbing wheel well edge. Tires very good it has 235 in front and 245 in back. 90% of everything works. The only thing it is missing is the air pump for the spare. The car was professionally prepped and painted over 8 years ago in the original wine red and looks fabulous . . .except for the damage shown in the pictures and some very minor nicks and dings, the gloss is perfect. Also took the dent out of the rear and touched up the bumper and quarter with some touch up spray, looks better.
The seats, dash and miscellaneous parts need some work and reupholstering. The rest of the interior is very good.
I know the car pretty well by now, I know what it needs and when it needs it.
I bought it thinking I could keep it but I have some family business I have to deal with and I can't give it any time
or more money. Plus I prefer a manual although when this auto gets going it kicks *** . . ..
I'm into 928's so I have some parts and do work on these cars so if you wanted me to do anything with it I would give you a very reasonable price. The registration is current till July 2013, I have 3 keys, owners manual, clean CA title and current smog cert. The car can be driven and enjoyed right NOW. . .. I am NOT a dealer or a car reseller . . .. . .. Just a guy who's got the 928 fever!
NO, NO, NO TEXT'S . . . $ 3900 obo Need to sell before I go out of town !

I've had a chance to see this car personally. It's very nice, and sounds GREAT. The seats are shot, but overall it looks like a steal for $3900... The motor looks FANTASTIC...
I have the photos from the marketplace, so I'll post them here. Hope you don't mind Trius...

If I was closer. LOVE the color and the motor compartment looks like you could eat off of it!
REALLY like the breather tubes. Anyone have a clue where they are from with the stainless straps??

The 'stainless straps' are formed aluminum stock, polished up nicely.

Keith made them for the car from hardware-store metal. The tubes are heavy-duty dryer duct IIRC. Do a little search on Keith's username 928ntslow (IIRC) with a few terms to narrow down the search a bit, and you should get the info on them.

Trius came by my place night before last to deliver the grill I had been waiting for (THANKS!)
He drove his 928 and I got another chance to look at it. With the engine looking and running the way it does, The wheel and tire setup, the steering wheel, the momo shifter, and the Borla exhaust... I can't believe no one has scooped this one up yet. It's a solid car, and has a known history. Sure it needs a little TLC (mostly seat replacement or re-upholstery)...
I told him to bring it to Sharktoberfest, but his hopes are that he will have a manual car in time for that so he needs to sell. If you know anyone looking to get in cheap, I can attest that this car is definitely a driver that is ready to go. It's head and shoulders above a lot of the crap people sell in this price range.

OK Drove the car last night for a few freeway miles and it runs great.
Trius gave me these numbers:
120,120,115,118, 100, 87, 112, and 110 for compression.
Is this too scarey and what kind of repair bill will i be facing to put her right?

Hmmm. It sure runs good. Probably will need the heads done/head gaskets eventually. Not too bad $ if you DIY. The 16v heads can be pulled with the engine in the car.

Bought!
She had a Trial by Fire, almost literally on the way home in 100+ traffic jam.
Needle barely moved, without the AirCon on.
Note my post number. Many years of planning went into it.
