Stupid Pet Question R vs L
Ok I don;t know the answer to this, but I know someone does.
PET has R and L is that facing the front or the rear of the car for perspective.
So if Front R= Driver vs. rear L =Driver
I would hope it is L=Drive, but not 100% sure. Even though I am of german descent, I am usually backwards.

Those silent blocks are readily available on ebay or many oldtimer, biking or RC shops for a couple of bucks.

When distinguishing between right-hand drive and left-hand drive, it's shown as "RL" or "LL" respectively. A single letter "R" or "L" will always denote right or left side fitment.

As well as the RR=right hand drive, LL=left, I thought handed items were prefixed 928 for left side, 927 for right side? But no, checking PET, eg front fenders, both start with 928, but end 011.02 for left, 012.02 for right. So the 927 prefix is ONLY for RHD variant parts, and the whole car.

Prices have to be way better than the stealership.
As for which side is which, if I were king of the world such things would be referred to by Port and Starboard, which work regardless of RHD or LHD, standing in front or behind the car, etc.

9th digit is odd number for left and even number for right side part. In cases where same part is used on both sides its always odd number. I think this is also true for casting numbers which end with letter R as 11th digit.

Thanks for the 9th digit info, now I understand how it works. Also thanks for the vibramonts, 2.37 vs 52 I can put the $50 as down payment on my high beam lens...
