Awesome find. Congratulations!
There is a 91 S4 with about the same mileage in our area that I have set my eyes on...
Strategically placed to damage your knee or lower leg, should an accident ever occur (which we don't hope, but still... I have scars on my knee from hitting the radio in a 911 SC)

Well fluids checked and flushed. Coolant was good and up to snuff, oil changed and filter, diff fluid looked very clean, PSD will have to be locked at later. Brake fluid a little red, flushed brakes and clutch til clear. Work done at Blair Talbots Motors right near where car had been stored. He is ex Porsche mechanic from local porsche dealership who knows 928 s. he has two currently in the shop. Decided to take a chance and see if I could drive home (about 70 highway miles) before undertaking TB water pump, PK tensioner. Got 6 miles and TB Warning!!!!
Drove back to Talbots and this week it will get TB/Waterpump and PK tensioner done.
It did fell great though, like a new car for the short 12 miles !!!

Plan will be to get all deferred maintenance done and make sure the GT is as reliable as my 89 S4' at which point, I"ll be selling the 89 S4
I won't mind living at "that" barn, it was definitely the ultimate man cave.
