Arnoud, thanks for the link to the DYI, will surely come in handy when I dig into it.

If you are a member of the 928OC.org you can either borrow the Tech Tool (after this guy who has it) for a credit card deposit (refundable) or it is often at group meets.

Check the PSD sensor under the driver's seat for any damage (doubtful but hey-you never know!) I think if the ABS sensors failed or shorted then the ABS light/message would also come on.

Mickster, yes Charter Member (have my 89 S4 since 1996) and indy shop has diagnostic tester and will check out for any codes showing. Not getting ASB fault , only PSD fault on dash. Also brake lights not operative ( and probably cruise on same fuse), there was a TSB out that brake harness going thru hatch by hinge can chaff and short, not a big deal, will check out this week.

Great GT! How did you discover it?
Totally by accident! I went to a car show at Porsche dealership in NH four weeks ago. Met the sales manager who I've known for 15+ years when I was driving Audi's. He asked if I still had my 928, (I was only 928 at the show) and he said a customer might be bringing his 928 in also. I asked what model and he said....91 GT with 24K that he had sold him in 94 and he was going to bring into the Porsche dealership to sell. He asked if I was interested and obviously said yes. He introduced me to him (he didn't have the 928, came with Porsche GT3RS and son drove the 360 Modena Ferrari). I spent last two weekends at his garage going over the car and did the deal yesterday. Car isn't in the 928 registry, will add soon.

Just happened to be at the right place at the right time!

Beautiful score Bob! Couldn't have gone to a greater guy. I look forward to seeing it in person.

Rough gig that! I wonder if he would like to adopt a 47 year old son?! I am potty trained...for the most part and I even have a job! LOL! Love 360's and GT3RS's, happy to drive them when needed!
