I will not be there this year, but I am looking forward to 2013. I loved the quiet drive through the hills: " I have my own earplugs."

I really had planned to attend last year, but was still kind of new with my new job not to mention I got sick right before the event, so I am considering making the drive out this year... Checking in with a couple of folks to see if they want the co-pilot job... I'll keep you all posted!

Thanks Mark! I'll keep you posted my friend! Maybe I should check on a wheelchair friendly room at whatever the main hotel is... I also tend to like the newer La Quita's (they seem to have the w/c access thing figured out pretty well) is there one of those close by just in case???

If I tow something it will probably be the '95, but if you have something on hand I could borrow that would at least give me another option (I get about 6.5 mpg not towing and about 5 mpg towing...OUCH!) Probably leave BLU82 safely ensconced in the garage!

.. don't be surprised to see that little red step kid out there again. No shame here, if you're not going to lead on the Fun Run, get behind me.

Sounds like a caravan from SD is forming with some new listers, met the new owner of an infamous stolen 928 this last weekend at Coronado Speed Fest, he should be attending.
SD928, Randy, meet for the drive up?

What? Really? A stolen 928 at speedfest, wow, sorry to hear that. I was going to go but had family duties and I had a parking pass too.
Nope, the recovered S4 visited Speed Fest, it was stolen a few years back and has a new rightful owner. The thief/chopper has quite a history, funny how much a car an carry a bit of history.

An afternoon fun run is not my speed, it would be nice to see old friends but an early morning scoot is where it's at!

Has this been finalized? The schedule says otherwise:

If it is on Saturday, will there also be a dinner? Anything on Sunday?

Joseph, I got what I hope will be a good roll in shower wheelchair friendly room at the Holiday Inn! Friday night and Saturday night FOR SURE and perhaps Sunday night depending on if I go to Disney or whatever. Hope they have room for my R/V in the parking lot!

Hi James, Let me know if you are going to Disney on Sunday. I can arrange parking for your RV at our Holiday Inn next to Disney or Holiday Inn Diamond Bar.
