Default Where does this go???

I pulled the airbox today to replace the cruise control servo and cable, and in doing so I found a random wire, not connected to anything. I believe it is a flywheel angle sensor, as it connects to a little black piece just above it (see photos below). What I want to know is where does the end plug into? It looks as if it was used and at some point - probably when a PO had the heads pulled for refresh - when reassembled they forgot about it. So, where does it go???

Now, this is where the end of the wire goes, into that black plastic sensor.

it was bolted to the side of one of the intake plenums
That particular connector is for a dealer diagnostic reader that will read RPM
it isnt used for any other function on your car,
you cut the wire off or tuck the connector out of the way if n you dont wanna cut the wire

FYI it looks like its time to refresh the fuel lines,
WYAI replace the HCV and short hose
