The 984 ("Boxster prototype") shown right after the 928 is also interesting-- very 928-influenced in appearance.

Yeah, don't jump. Just relax and enjoy the movie from the beginning. Some nice historic shots.

Nice how they used vent windows on the doors and kept the window opening flat at the rear. Lots of custom work on the doors. Wonder if ASC who did the 968 cabs was involved in this project ?

I would defiantly recommend watching the entire video I just posted the time for anyone interested. I really wish though the concept convertible 928 was actually put into production I feel it really would have had a positive impact on sales. Also the 984 would have made an interesting production car minus the bug eyed looking headlights.

The 984 has some interesting 944 and 928 influences. 944 owners do talk about that it would look like if it were still around. I think the 984 gives us a clue.

When the gent mentions that it could be put into a showroom today he is not kidding. For a basic design that is over 30 years old, it could easily compete with many of the new models today. Very smooth, flowing lines. No wonder we love these cars so much!

Wow, beatiful cab. Great to see the factory's take on the concept. Don't quite get the corner windows. The seats look awesome.

The Porssche prototype looks so nice. when i't's open. Makes one wonder how it would look like with the roof up. And why did people make the kit car not just like this?
