If you look at the threads that he's started, he's deleted all of the first posts as well.

well, unfortunately not a follower on design. i like unique on of a kind. so buying a pre-made overly priced body kit just because of the "porsche" brand is never me. also my euro has 184+ miles, so what value and no service hitory. What value?!!! I put on an expensive porsche kit just to have no value. nowhere near makes since in my world. stock is too plain to me. front is pretty cool, back is really nice, side -- blah, blank.

only real cool thing about it for me right now is that its a porsche, 5-peed, and everywhere i go people ask/say "isn't that the scareface car". that adds a newer wing knows its missing something. everybody that rolls fenders knows it needs something original wasn't cutting or think, hey wider/different wheels. but they designed, what's wrong with the factory wheels? "Well, they knew what they were and that is the best lookiing wheel for 928" NO!!! fell short on that one. why do people want newer/different wheels if there design was so great. why are people changing out stock exhaust if the designed so great? why are people upgrade headlight bulbs? why do people change the factory radio if its so great? fix it, use it. oh yeah, radio from 80's not as good as today's. anyway, my idea is to finish what it should have had. something subtle. thinking outside the box people seem to be stuck in. everything porsche designed for the 928 is not perfect. if they remake that car today it would be wayyyy better, still not perfect, but way better. even if they all of a sudden decided to go back and make kits today, it would be a hole different world for our beast. designers of today with new technology, new ideas and the right resources. for what i paid and low value of 184k no service record, i'm not stuck on original. now i would like to update he looks, but not in a way makes it not a 928 or ricer. there's something that can be done with some creative and with an 80's designers mind state.

Hmm-just went to the garage with a straight edge and the back was flat left to right--not saying the whole plane-but definitely across.

Same on hood going across.

So not sure what you mean by flat-linear or planar but definitely linear. Definitely flat planar on the rear-regardless of Enzo or not.

Hatch lines ditto.

I think your script needs to be increased...

Also the area where the rear license mounts is flat all the way across the cutout.

Next.

Jewlery on a body isnt changing the design.

Fake ****, lip injections, and ***-lifts...are changing the design.

Like I said..yer welcome to do what you like, just..some of the images you posted..it'd be easier to get to those pictures, with a readily available Fbody, and a WIDE selection of kits to choose from.

Just not sure where a blingy 928 calls home in the style world.

Its like..softening up a Lambo..you wouldnt know where to park it at a Lambo meet...

Ahh, why would he be trying to hide?

Forget about the modifications. Just search hard for a Strosek, you may get lucky and find one for sale. Some of the Strosek-designed 928's are the only ones that I would consider may look better than stock.

George, it depends on what you are looking into changing out to aftermarket. If it's tasteful, fine. But just don't be like this guy

yeah , i would never do what's in that video. those mods accomplished nothing. also i'm not a into cutting into the body. mostly because i have no experience in fiberglassing, and would have to have the parts in spares in case i f up. i'm known for doing my own custom looks. normally the outcome from others on the street is excellent" not to much, but not too little". normally get good reviews. have to keep up my tradition. i post what i come up with. will probably look at newer porsche, lamborghini"s, ferrari, etc... Back to watching top gear i guess.

Well, IMHO, it is your car so do with it what makes you happy. I have never seen what I would consider a successful body kit for the 928. I think that with the right spoilers, side skirts etc, it could be just awsome. I do tend to hate the doubble spoilers that some add to the 'S' models but that is just my opinion. On that topic, I love the front end design on that convertible prototype that is in the video in one of the other current posts. I love the way they do the lights as well as the front lower vallence. I do not like the way they handle the rear deck and roof line however.

Good luck man, and make the car beautiful the way YOU like it as you are the one spending the time and $$$, as well as the one driving it. I hope you will post pics as you go.

One word of advice, play with the design on photoshop or one of the other design studio software packages out there before getting your hands dirty. That way you will know beforhand if you like something or not.

George, as you can see... some around here are very opinionated on how best to spend your money. Others still sit precariously on both sides of the fence and will flip flop back & forth as their side of any given discussion changes.

Best advice has already been mentioned... it's your car, do what you want (and post pics!).

Barry,
Do you work for Forigen Cars Italia? Steve Barney has been almost a life long friend. I know he probably is no longer involved but I used to go there and drool. Even took my sons. He would actually let them sit in the Ferrari's. Hell of a guy. Went to school with his daughter. Also bought my first 928 there in 91.

We should hook up sometimes,
