Ohhhh no! My car is not a show car. I can put on a show with it (as many saw in Hell), but there is no way anyone is going to tell me how pretty my car is. It's been ridden hard and put up wet a few times. It still cleans up well, but will never - and I mean NEVER! - be a show car like the one in the subject of this thread.

Thanks polecat for the compliments, but there are far more deserving cars.

928's were MADE to be driven.....I recall part of the design spec was a lifespan of "at least" 200K miles and several have gone MUCH further.....

I tried looking for Pearlglanz a few years ago...I contacted a euro 928er (who collects 928 CS) and he looked in the french DMV, but didn't find anything.....so if its in France its in a museum-collection and doesn't get driven.....it would be great to find it again....

Agree, the Pearlglanz car may or may not be worth much of anything at this point... just depends on how many more miles it has covered and if it has been well cared for. Of course it will always harbor more value that just about any other 928 in the US because it was THE LAST US GTS, so that bodes well for that car, but this GT could still be worth A LOT more than "THE LAST" as I call it...

As other have said, I'll reiterate, the value of this car comes from its insanely low miles. I have a VERY LOW mile 928 myself and it has no ill effects from sitting dormant most of the time... It leaks just like all the rest of my 928's! LOL!!! *KIDDING* (I think...anyway) Put 15k miles on this car though and the value will drop in half from this asking price! Sure would be nice to put some miles on a NEW 928 though... Trust me I KNOW! I have put about 200 on BLU82 in the last 3 years! I savor EVERY mile and EVERY minute in that car...it is truly unbelievable!

Errka ... mine is 800358, which makes it 101 from end, and the 11th last ROW 5 speed. Do you know the VIN of the museum one?

Erkka, is the man with these VIN's! I really thought the dark blue museum car was the last...since it isn't, I wonder where the actual last GTS is?! Does anyone know, or has it fallen in to the same abyss (collection???) as the last US GTS?

You'd think that with the amount of time the ad has been up, the number of e-mails to them trying to educate them on what the car does or does not have, that they would have updated it by now.

Intradasting.
