Nice Shark, Welcome! Nice C-2 five spokes you have there as her "shoes". One of my fav all time wheels. Wish they came in 17s or 18s which would allow for a wider rim too. Here's a pic of my former gold '85 shark with C-2 five spokes wheels on it too. Our 968 cab came w/that same wheel too.

So nice! Enjoyed the story of your trip! I have slept in places less comfortable than a 928 seat btw!

MGW, is that what you 968 guys call a C2 wheel??? In 928 terms the C2 wheels (ie. Cup II) came on the '94/'95 GTS's and were shared with 993's (though narrower fronts on 993's). I agree though that they are a GREAT looking wheel!!! Many get those wheels confused for the Cup I wheels on '92/'93 GTS's.

it is really strange to see my car in someone else's garage. I am going to miss her.

Congratulations and thanks for the pictures, exceedingly nice one. As Gary Knox made made aware during my first initial posting (so copied here with pride):
Your wife, friends, and associates are going to have to get used to that "grin on your chin".
Welcome!

Hi James, no its not what the 968 guys call it, its what Porsche called it, the C2 Five Spoke wheel, is a 16" wheel which came as an option on the 1990-94 964 C2 911s, and as a standard wheel on the '92-95 968s. The "C" in the "C2" in this wheel's name is for Carrera, not Cup. I had it on our 1990 964 C2 911; briefly on my 1st '85 928; and its currently on our 968 Cab.

There was also the C2 Turbo wheel, which was the 17" wheel with a wider five spoke that 1st came on the '91-94 911s Turbos. It is the very popular 928 wheel also referred to as the Cup 1s, yes? I have the aftermarket version as my track wheel for my current '85 928.
