Totally bogus and they know it. I bet the other person complained and ReMax bowed to their pressure... I had my kids vote and we are all on separate computers but the IP's will be close cause that's the way the the router sets it up....
Might be time to use the internet to expose what has happened and maybe ReMax might just rethink what they've done and perhaps the "other" party might not look so good after it known what she did to "win" against little Sophie.

Today when I started to post these in other forums the votes for Sophie were still 250 above the 2nd place person. The votes increased by 400 or so over the course of the afternoon and evening and our lead varied from 300-350 until about an hour ago. Something happened where Sophie lost almost 500 votes and the 2nd place lady did not lose anything.
The grandmother got a phone call from Re/max stating that they were dismissing all votes that came from the same IP, or close to the same IP as they considered this cheating. Ok, no problem, but anyone knows that if you are in a office or hospital setting, all of those IPs are going to be close or the same.
Sophie got screwed tonight and I will not forgive Re/Max for it. This voting has been going on for a few weeks now so it's not a quick, one night thing.

Let's give RE/MAX a chance to make this right if it ends not in Sophie's favor. It's better to get something with sugar than vinegar. They know what bad press does and thats always the nuclear option in the end.

If any of you guys use social media you can use it to Sophies advantage. You can post a request for votes on your feed and ask people to do the same. You can also post it to any community or interest groups you might belong to. I've been posting the following text on the Facebook pages of NFL, and MLB teams as well as restaurant and television show fan pages. Feel free to use this as a template or make as many changes as you'd like. Lets make a big push for this kid.
