FS '80 928 in San Pedro
No affiliation to seller! Took a Sunday morning drive to Palos Verdes today and as I was winding along the coast toward San Pedro I spotted a parked white 928. I whipped a Uey and parked behind her. She has seen better days for sure! It has a matte white paint job, actually I believe it is just severely oxidized that helps compliment the rust on the rear hatch. The paint was chipping along the window trim and I saw a goldish/brown color peeking out. She is an automatic with ragged sheepskins covering the seats. Definitely not worth the asking price of $3200. Owner claims great restoration project? Any brave takers? The lo-res pics were taking from a 3g iphone, ignore the lens distortion.
Oh, when I was heading north on the 110, I saw a red 928S with license that read "Hauge" or something like that. The rear lights were s1,s2, s3 style but the bumper cover looked like it said Porsche s4 on it? I'm new to this forum, is this guy a member.

A hatch wouldn't be to hard to swap out. But this car would need a very detailed inspection to determine if its worth anywhere close to that price. i.e. Does the AC work? Receipts? CarFax? Engine photos required.. If there is that much rust, it's been in the ocean air for quite some time. I do love the original non-altered OB shape though..
