Hey guys,
Thank you for your kind words on the car. Finally she is rolling on the road, fully registered, insured with its road tax disc implemented.
I've been on the net looking for a new instrument dashboard with milage counter as the current one does not work at all. Also to mention that the lights in the dashboard are not working too.
Would anyone be able to point me to the right direction to where should I go?
Many thanks in advanced,
Yaz

If fuses OK look right under the dash on the just above your left knee. There is a dial that is for dimming the dash lights. First make sure it is not all the way dimmed. Next get under and make sure the wires are attached. Black wire is power into the potentiometer and there are two Black/Blue wires that are its output. One goes to powers dash illumination, the other powers center console illumination. Also once you find the culprit you can take the dimmer switch out (two philips head screws) and give it a good cleaning. This actually made my illumination slightly brighter.

First check your fuses. I forget which one it is but if there's a bad one that would be it.

Current Update:
Recently replaced the MAF with a second hand from the local market (half price) and also three of its fuel injector pressure dampers and man the shark drives so much better on the road. It's beginning to run as close to what I remember back in the 90's. Would anyone know where I can get the old MAF sensor refurbished in the global market?
Now a few more items needed to be done:
1. Total replacement of the fuel lines
2. Replace throttle cable(s) - the accelerator pedal is a bit stiff!
3. Head lamp spring
4. Dashboard lights - dashboard is totally dark in the evenings
5. Shock absorbers - it looks to be the Bilstein Sport B6's are the ones to be used with OEM springs
Have a good Sunday sharks!
