Default Austin Texas FS '85 5-speed blk-blk; $6000

http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/3152457841.html

Fellow 928 clubbed blindsided with divorce on Friday: poor guy. I drove this car three months ago; has Porken chips, recent clutch inspection from Sean, lots of recent maintenance item. Runs good; sounds like a relay or cps left him stranded on Wednesday.

Poor guy.

Non running could be anything. Or something big. if it 200$ to fix it then fix it and get your asking price. I am actually in the market for this exact car, but hesitate with a non runner.

If it does not run and drive it is NOT a car !!! actually should be listed on Craigs list as PARTS , read the rules !

I'm sure between Mark and I we might have enough spare parts to fix or at least diagnose.

I've got a bunch of 944 relays and cps at the shop. Not sure if they are the
same. Heck we can always borrow a part from my 928 to get it running.

I'm doing a bit of traveling this week, but I'm around today and back later in the week.

Let's at least get it running and fetch you top $.

That's a beaut! All the good stuff already done.

Someone buy it from Brian - I will trade my black on black '86.5 track car for it.

It would be running already if I was closer. It's a simple deal I am sure.

It's all about timing -- I just picked up a street legal track-able
951 about 6 weeks ago -- otherwise I would have taken you up on the offer
and done a swap with you.

ahhhh, timing is everything.

Awesome deal. I just sent the ad to a friend who is looking for a car just like this one. Sounds like it is about $6067 from being a $9500 car.

Sean, if it comes to parts cheap, I have all good quality used parts that I replaced while trying to track down my no-start issue. I have 2 cps etc...

Let me know if I can help,
