Default Tool kit question

Can someone tell me a name or part number for item 5 here: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...=91172110702#a

I'm thinking this is for manual adjustment of the power seat?

Hmmm... a bit of searching through other Porsche models' IPBs found me something that looks the same for a 964. P/N is 928 521 907 02 (Emergency Crank Tool). Funny thing is that, even though it's got a 928 part number, Autoatlanta says it's not applicable for 928's.

Thats the correct part number.

PET7.3 shows it in the Accessories group on the Jack page.

928 521 907 02 - Crank

Its used to manually close the sunroof, and also to manually move the front seats fore/aft (although I recall some model years don't have the crank socket for it on the seat base.. my S4's do).

In Germany the Emergency Crank Tool part no. 928 521 907 02 is available at a price of € 18.36 including sales tax.

How does this work for the sunroof? I thought that tool was the smaller, angled, handle with the flat blade on one end (to fit into the slot in the sunroof gearbox).

Ah ok.. I've only owned one 928 with a sunroof and never had occasion to use a tool on it as it worked. I guess I was missing the flat-bladed crank in that car.

These days I just buy non-sunroof 928's

So I guess the crank handle is just for the seats? (which I've used it on).
