Denny,

To fit your '82 you will also need the 86.5 or later front suspension - upper & lower control arms, steering knuckle, sway bar, etc. Or, I believe you can switch to the earlier steering knuckle (pre '81?) and adapters to bolt the calipers on. The rears just need a small spacer to center them over the rotors.

I would be glad to make a package deal. I have front and rear suspension from an S4. I think the PO was buying parts to make a track car before he passed away. Lots of parts still to go through, But I am certain I have the four corners and would be glad to take pictures of them when back home Friday or Saturday.
If I dont hear any interest now I will just put them up FS at a later date.

I would use them as spares, when a better use would be to go on someone's car.

For those playing along at home, these are better than the pre-'89 calipers that are not rebuildable. Our 928 vendors and others carry the seals and dust boots for these, an option not available on the earlier calipers anymore. If you have an earlier S4 or an 86.5 car, your only caliper repair option is replacement with another old set, or get these that can be rebuilt. My spares shelf is pretty crowded right now, else these would get snapped up, cosmetic restore/refinished and rebuilt, since they are the perfect in-kind replacement for what I have now.

The SS brake line kit is a nice $100 bonus in the package too.

Somebody snap these up!

Rear suspension doesn't require any modification - just a couple of 5 or 8mm (can't remember) washers to move the caliper outboard to center it over the rotor.

Of course, the original dust shields won't fit - but who needs dust shields anyway?

Brian,

I'll take them, rotors and calipers!

Let me know how you want to arrange payment.

Jeff,

You will need either an adapter or an 86.5 or later set of spindles/hubs to fit the front calipers. I know 928I sells the adapters.
