You know if this were a 928 you'd be able to fit big tires just fine and it would also make too much power with a nominal effort. No need to get all crazy!

Mike,
Check out the build thread, this baby is a crossbreed with a 3.4L 2JZ drivetrain capable of making well over 1000 at the wheels on E85.
Seems to be turning out that way (E36 M3 GTR look), my intention was just to build a badass 4 door race car...my body guy is extremely talented and I asked him to come up with something that would allow 335/30-18's at all 4 corners and this is what he came up with, very happy with his work so far!

Yikes! That's not a BMW motor and yet it's not another Chevy either. it's unique and in the grand tradition of interesting automotive creativity that's so rare nowadays. Way cool!

Thanks Mike! I can't take credit for the initial swap done on this car (I bought it with the 2JZ already installed and then proceeded to blow up the 3L and am going back in with a 3.4L) but I can take credit for doing major improvements to be able to use the power it will now be making (bodywork, brakes, wheels, cage, etc.).
