I have 18's that came with my 91 S4. They have Kumhos Ectsa ASX; ; 225/40/18 fronts; 265/35/18 rears. Approximately 2000 miles on them and about 3 years old. DOT Date 0708

Some road rash on front driver side and one of the rears (forget).

Tread is almost new and even wear.

Thinking $1200.00 for the set. Am I off?

I am thinking of going down to 17" for less harsh ride but same look, a little more rubber:

Will these fit:

17x7 et 55 (986.382.124.00)
17x8.5 et 50 (986.382.126.05)

Want to go with 225/45/17 fronts; 255/40/17 rears.

You will be disappointed in the reduced handling feel of a 17" wheel.

I think 265 is too wide for an 8.5 inch rim. I suggest 255 40 17 for the rears.
