Default ignition coil ground wires

I am in the process of cleaning all my ground points and I have a Quick question:

Since the ignition coil body are already grounded, do we really needs the ignition coil ground wires? If yes, can you explain why?

Thanks

Added in 85 for radio interference suppression. Triangulating between documents, there seems to have been a lot of concern about the change to the windshield antenna in MY 85.

May also be one on your wiper motor (advice in a separate tech bulletin).

Otherwise the EMF emitted would play havoc with all the computers on board.

84 Euro didn't have them and it has the same engine managment system as 32V.

But maybe that was the reason.

Several of us, including me, have in past experiences linked the coil grounds with no-start. I think that was an erroneous linkage, at least in my case.
