Have you ever thought of arranging a trip to the Lingenfelter Car Collection? It looks awesome and is less than an hour away in Brighton. He has a 928 in the collection from pictures that i have seen.

Hi all.
Karla would like to order a Kindle Fire, but it won't ship to Canada. She is wondering someone would donate their address for shipping and she can retrieve it when she gets to Hell? We will be leaving Niagara Friday morning to be in Hell mid-afternoon. If someone is willing, they can pm me, text or call me or Karla at the numbers below:

Steve's cell - 905-807-8293
steves email - s.martin_chso@live.com
Karla cell - 905-981-8698

I've seen the Lingenfelter collection and it is amazing, but I don't remember a 928. Might not have been on display that day. He does have a Carrera GT, a 959, and several 911s of various flavors.

From the website:
While the collection currently is not open to the public, it is available for corporate and charity events, silent and live auctions, and car-club specialty showings.
Not sure if we qualify.

Let me make a few calls. Timing might be a bit tight, however.

There is a place in Ypsilanti that I KNOW we can go to on Saturday morning if people are interested. It's a small nondescript warehouse where people store their toys. Usually a number of 911's MGs Triumphs, Fiats, Ferraris, etc. It's just a coffee and donuts kind of thing, but cool nonetheless. I'm happy to escort people if they want to go.

This is a pic from an aquaintance who toured the collection. He sent it to me because of the 928. Looks like an incredible list of cars: exotics, muscle cars and of course lots of vettes.

Do you know when that was?

I saw the collection 2-3 years ago, I think. Maybe Mark remembers - he was there as well.

I believe they were there just last month. They were very impressed.

Lingenfelter's Porsches:
http://www.9magazine.com/report-the-...ollection.html

"I love Porsches, and there are some nice ones in the collection. I first got hooked, believe it or not, on the 928. A friend at a dealership said ‘Ken, you really need to take this 928 for a ride’, and I said ‘It’s an automatic, I don’t drive automatics’. But I drove it, and I just had to have it."

It is one Hell of a collection (trying to get back on topic).
