Custom Spark Plug Wires

I suppose that one crimp with my eBay crimper might be sufficient, but as you can see in this picture I crimped the sample end about 5 times. Each crimp must be done seperately, but I think the result looks every bit as good as what I would expect from the BERU crimper, or even better becasue I think each indent is probably a little deeper than with BERU.
Persomally, I don't see the advantage in paying the extra $250 to save myself even the extra 80 crimps necessary to get five indents with my tool, in a full set of wires, versus only 20 total with BERU. YMMV.
Again, I haven't modified the other set of dies as required to crimp the shaft of the ferrel onto the wire strands themselves, so I still don't know how that will work out.

I agree regarding the use of aftermarket tools vs. the Beru ZAZ3/0890300001.

Searched for the Mountain MTNC48-H1 die (MPN #: MTNC48-H1 aka SO2676-H1).
Online sites I found no longer have item in stock.
-
So far it is not known if part MTNC48-H1 / SO2676-H1 is included in the
Mountain SO2676-B Quick Change Ratcheting Crimper Kit.
-
Also searched online for a 7MM Crimper Tool with reviews reporting
good/reliable results for this specific application.
Did not find any.
* Which crimper dies/sets (Make & Model #) have other members found good results ?
