My memory of those angle connectors is that they are for temporary duty so you can connect hoses for charging/servicing. The swivel o-ring may or may not like long-term life in the hot engine bay.

I hate Porsche. It has been a couple of years but it was not completely filled on that escapade and my hands have not shrunk in the interim. Cold is better than hot but my hands do not fit in there in either event.
