Default Tube from Master Cylinder Replacement, Part Number/Size?

Recently I pressurized my brake system to find that the feed tube from the master cylinder to the clutch slave cylinder is shot.

I want to replace it next week, but I am about to board a plane to NY, from FL, and I have no idea what to order.

Someone on here recommended high grade tubing from Pegasus Racing... what size, how long? Is there a better alternative?

Also, should I replace anything else while the master cylinder is off? I saw one discussion RE: the reservoir seals. I'm also wondering if I should use (radiator style) clamps on either side of the tube once I replace it; It currently just slides over the fittings on either end.

Thanks in advance.

A length of the 999 181 021 50 blue hose is $22 and will last another 20 years. Make sure that it runs 'downhill' all the way from thereservoir to CMC upon installation.
