Default Another aspect to the story

So the 928 got flooded on the 5th of June and I then managed to go into the back of someone on July 13th in my 2003 Audi A6 92,000 miles. They totaled that too and paid $9986 so I guess I am not Geico's most popular customer right now! So now I have to car shop. I need something under $10K, reliable, low maintenance and insurance costs, preferably awd, good mileage, pref hatchback. Unfortunately, it is time to be sensible for a while. I have had a stroke of luck with these 2 incidents really and it is time to be a grown up. A 928 can wait is my motto for a while!

Subaru-non turbo fits your bill. Turbo avoid unless you know who owned it and how they drove it. The 6 cyl engine. Audi/VW AWD in that price range will only get more expensive over time.

Geico may move you into a much higher insurance bracket...be prepared...ask me how I know...

Default Went to look at Foresters last 2 days

We had a look at some high mileage Foresters 05 06 07 between 98K on the low end and 165K on the high (the 07) The 07 sold but I was concerned about the high mileage. They were immaculate and the dealer was v helpful but as I said the mileage concerned me. My thought is to look at 04 Forester LL Bean spec with lower miles under say 80K. Other considerations are 05 06 Honda Elements, Mazda 6, 01 Boxster.......
