I dont mind either way Jerry.......I suggested BW as I stay @ their chain much when on the road for work and have preffered rates.

The Comfort Inn is right at the Flying J per google maps:

That's fine Malcolm. Let's zero in on the Comfort Inn.

I would offer to share a room, but I am reportedly a person who snores. At least so my wife and daughter report so when on vacations. I haven't been able to verify it myself, but I don't usually get very good sleep because of them waking me up to complain.

I will post this on the Rocky Mountain Sharks list to see if we can garner some participation on our party. I'll bring the cooler with some wine and beer. We can make it a parking lot tailgate party.

I have made my reservation at the Comfort Inn near Denver International Airport for July 11. Malcolm is going to do the same. Anyone else heading for OCIC through the Denver area at about that time is welcome to join us there Wednesday evening for a sip or three of adult beverages, or BYOB. I'll have some beer and wine with me in my cooler.

They don't have a restaurant at this hotel, so I don't know where Malcolm and I might find to eat, but likely something nearby. If there is anyone else interested in joining us for dinner that would be great also. Even Thom or anyone else not going to OCIC would be welcome to join in.

Stan says that the Flying J is next door so that is where the Caravan will be forming up starting at 0800 Thursday for the big school of sharks to Wichita.

Default On the Road - trip starts now :)

To make the trip enjoyable and not rushed the GTS is loaded and leaving first thing this morning.

Heading South through Alberta, across the US border at Coutts and into Montanna. Plan is to get across the big sky state then Sheridan and Buffalo, WY.

See you on the road

Adam and I just rolled in to the comfort Inn and grabbed the last room (231). 7.5 hours from SLC to Denver..nice drive.

Of course we see a trio of 928's leaving just as we pull in (only recognized Stan in his ivory yellow 928)..must have missed the gathering.... we'll plan on being at the flying J for the 8am departure
