I don't know...I see a lot of work that could be done on that car... of course if you just want one to drive and don't mind how it looks to much it could be a real winner. Get the Ebay seat kit for $330 and learn how to put it in, get a new fuel pump and if the guy isn't lying BAM... you are driving a decent little 928 for under $3k!

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Not a show car, but for $2200 you could hive yourself a nice little driver. The paint actually looks OK and I'm not sure the seats even need replacing. Some leather work might go a long way.

Oh, man. I want back into a 928 so bad. And that's pretty much the Shark I'm looking for: blue (the wife likes blue), automatic (so she could drive it), inexpensive and appearing to need only a little work to make it a daily driver, an OB, no rub strips, no sun roof. It even looks like minimal molestation of the interior!

What's with these decent, cheap 928s in the Pacific Northwest? If it was within a reasonable distance of Scranton, I'd be calling...

I'm a little short on time now, so I can't schedule a trip to pick up a car. However, I can see myself a year from now flying out to pick up a car from somewhere to drive it back. I'll just need to make sure I pick my route home so that I can connect up RennForumers like a dot-to-dot!

This is one where you get a local to take a look for you... and then have it shipped (about $1k)....probably worthy of restoration from looking at the pics... and btw...it's located a fair bit from Seattle..over on the east side of the Cascades.. about 2 hours due east .

That car has been up for sale for a while at that price. I would love to go look at it but while it is only a state away it is still probably 12 hrs one way. I really like the color combo. I have a feeling more is wrong than just a fuel pump given the lack of detail in the ad.
