Depends if you're talking about the return line, which is low pressure, or the high pressure line from pump to rack.

Confess I don't know precise spec of either!

If you are in the UK, just get Pirtek to make you new lines. Their hose exceeds the Porsche requirements by a wide margin. Both my 928s have them and are wroking fine. Get them to fit swivel fittings to make it easier to refit the hoses. The RHD path is quite convoluted as the hoses have to follow the cross member across the engine bay

.., take the pipes with you, try and remember the orientation of which way they go, I only had the one to do ( the awkward one) and the lad was able to fit the swivels correspondingly . Once refitted at either end, you leave the swivels slack and then are able to move the pipe into a satisfactory position and tighten up.

Hey Stefan, I am interested in the exhaust note/sound of your car. My S4 MY89 has X-pipe and hi flo cats but standard rear muffler. I want to enhance the sound but an RMB (i have the smaller GT resonators std on the car) is way to loud. I did see earlier reference to Constantine's rear muffler/RMB set up. I believe he is looking to make some more. Do you have a Youtube vid or WAV file of the sound of your exhaust note. Cheers
