I did a couple quick tests (the lines I could access easily)
Front fuel pressure regulator
A/C line that goes into rear firewall
A/C kick down on passenger fender
All pump up and show pressure but leak out slowly.

No. The cup is to catch fluid during the brake bleeding operation.
You need to test the tester...
Seal the vacuum line with a golf tee or something similar and pump to the max vacuum. It should hold pretty much indefinitely. If not, the tester is leaking internally.

Plastic one has either a check valve, one way, or a shut off, I forget which. Maybe a drop of oil to juice the sucker?
If it doesn't hold a vacuum by itself, you might need to return it and try another. When I did this with a polisher I went through about three before deciding they all sounded terrible bearingwise.

Typical check valve is a rubber or plastic piece that looks a little like a roofing nail - pops into a hole, covers the port and lets air out but not in..

Well at least the golf tee isn't leaking. ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I would start with hoses and move towards the actuators and stuff, eventually it needs to hold a vacuum, some things worse than others. No slow leak is going to effect how the motor runs due to unmetered air, but fuel pressure regulators could be allowing fuel into the vacuum line, maybe smell the hose?
