So the only damage is the belt and the pulley on the water pump? Get the engine to the safe position so you can remove the belt. You might as well undo all the accessories so you can get the lower cover off as well. I would do a complete, 100% timing belt job this time around. That means a new Laso pump, rebuild the tensioner or install a Porken tensioner. I've got a flywheel lock, Kempf tool, and Landseer's 32vr thing for adjusting the cams, if you need any of them. And I've still got some free time.

I did everything but the WP.

I am hoping the same i.e., pulley problem. But the belt is tight across the gears, but very loose below the gears. Right side seems to be off about 4 teeth based on the reference marks.

Plan on putting an old belt on and doing a compression test.

I've got an undamaged water pump you can borrow if you need it (for doing the test.)
