Default Early HVAC vacuum diagrams & central locking

I had an interesting time troubleshooting an existing system, which was set up completely wrong.

I used a Porsche service information book from 1978, found it to be good but inaccurate or lacking info.

I've modified the page for further clarification. When I have more time, I'll post up more info on troubleshooting.

To download PDF, click here.

I'll post up the central locking as an append, but no changes were required. Useful info none-the-less.

Thanks Jim.

I am pretty sure all my vacuum flaps are not working properly and thus impacting my AC operation.

I don't believe my flaps are all working as intended so I will be needing this diagram soon.

Thanks Jim. I will d/l the PDF when I get home.

I found (1) of my vacuum diaphragm valves blown apart (one above the CE)....the plastic failed, but the rubber inside was good. I reassembled, coating the rubber bellows with WD and epoxied it, clamping together for a few days. Worked like a champ on the vacuum tester....Won't know real world until I start putting her back together...
