Default Painting radiator end tanks

Do I need any special type of paint to do the end tanks on the radiator. I have it out of the car and I am cleaning it up, would like for it to look pretty. Stock, Porsche Rad.
TIA,

The end tanks are plastic right? I guess you would need black plastic paint.

Why paint black plastic (unless you're changing color). Any plastic treatment product will do.

They are not black anymore, black has flaked off.

remove the end tanks and replace them with new tanks and seals,
most radiator repair shops can swap out the tanks .

If your tanks are peeling then they might be tan plastic these are original, so its only a matter of time before the passenger tank splits at the top

They are black plastic - there should be no 'flaking off'.

Thanks,
I was quoted 120 in labor for both sides over here at my local shop, assuming I brought in the radiator on its own. Not sure if thats high or low though for this kind of procedure.

new tanks are about 95.00 each side,
and figure about 150.00 to do both of them.
Some of the original tanks were a tan plastic so the coloring will sometimes peel off
