I charge $1200 (10 hours) to take it in and out, here, without cutting or ruining any of the other parts. That's probably less than flat rate, but we've done so many, we don't have to stop and think about it.

There are people that will cut a "slot" in the bell housing to get it out without removing the transmission.

Shame on them.

I had mine done last year. Total cost was around $1,500. That did not include the cost of a rebuilt TT from Constantine. I hope this helps.

Anyone have a cost estimate for DIY labor and “non-Porsche original” replacement parts (Timken bearings, etc.)?
