Momo Club 3 wheel
Can you easily swap out the center 'momo' cap for a Porsche crest center cap on this wheel?
And..what momo adaptor do I need to use it on my 928?
Thanks!

I have a club 4 wheel, the horn buttons are more or less universal to any momo wheel with a center cap.
The porsche one that is sold stock I dont care for much. Porken pointed out to me last year though about horn buttons that had a much more authentic look, and luckily I found one on amazon that im pretty happy with :
theres an adapter specifically for the 928 that momo sells (lbautosports is their american distributor from what i recall). But when i got it, I found that the adapter was too thick to get the steering nut/washer back on, wound up having to take it to a machine shop and have about 1/2 an inch cut out from the top where the bolt goes, then it fit like a charm. YMMV.
I can take it out and get a couple of pics of what i did to the adapter if your interested since my CE panel will be out for a bit..... And now that reminds me, now i can refinish the steering wheel with the leatherique kit. Glad I read this thread
Best of luck,
Jonathan.

So here is mine after multiple screw ups and changes. They did not include a turnsignal/horn ring (bottom) so i used the one from my car, along with with the screws from the car. Had to cut the wire to the one included with the original momo horn (not pictured but it was a female disconnect as well, it fell off while swapping to the amazon button so i replaced it with another).
Found it wasn't deep enough and tried grinding the bottom against the curb a little before realizing it was definitely the top after comparing to the stock ring area to the adapter. Found a machine shop willing to do it for about 40$ and the rest was history.
When I changed to the amazon one, I had to use the male disconnect included on the horn ring as the original momo one had only 1 connector on back and had grounding rings on the side to touch the horn ring. Go figure, while bending the male pin from the ring into place, it snapped . Hence the wire fed into the ring right on the backside lip.
I can say that the momo porsche button (Here) is nowhere near as asthetically pleasing as the amazon one (pictured below). If you are going with one of the 2, definitely the amazon button.
Hope this helps,
Jonathan.
