Default plug wires

Is there any kit out there that will allow you to make custom length plug wires that will attach to the usual bosch boot and cap etc....

thanks

I have gregs first gen oil control and the piping prohibits easy removal of one of the wires due to slightly short length.

I found a local silicone lead supllier who sold me a few metres of lead in a role. Then I ran them around the engine where I wanted them, cut them to length, took them back and they clamped the propper screw ends on them for me.
I have them where I want them and it was way cheaper than a kit.
What I would really like to find are the distributor cap and spark plug caps that are straight out, not 90 degree, I could make it much neater and much shorter leads then.
My breather pipes are tucked in where the plug leads used to go, so the plenems fit propperly and I now have plenty of space to run the leads straight up off the plugs very neatly.

I did this years ago for my S3. I had to buy a 100 foot roll of 7mm silicone copper core wire from Accel (special order from my local O'reilly/Checker auto parts, IIRC). I also got some of the crimp/screw terminals from a Bosch shop in Germany. Took me about three hours, but I was able to build a new wire set, and I have gotten a lot of extra use from that roll of wire (wire sets for motorcycles).

P.S. The Beru plug boots screw on to the wire ends. If you grip the wire tightly at the top of the boot, and turn the plug end in the normal loosening direction, they'll unscrew (usually, at least... I seem to remember a couple where the wire pulled out of its terminal instead, and I had to shove a screwdriver or something down in there to get the terminal unscrewed).

Get in touch with Mark Robinson. IIRC, he was offering wire sets with ends crimped on, you reuse your ends and boots. Would seem that you could give him your desired lengths and just install your ends on the stretched cables.

The little brass ends that thread into the 90 degree pieces at the cap and to the spark plug connector are available separately and I use them quite often to "repair" a damaged wire. Would it be possible to use a longer wire (out of a used set of wires), route it where you want it, cut it off at the desired length, and then put one of the brass connectors on?

If so, I can easily send you all these pieces, Andy.
