I like going to cars and coffe every so often, but I don't have the time this weekend. Next time.
I think you can get it done by Friday night...

Doc (and anybody else that doesn't go to Cars & Coffee),

You are cordially invited to have breakfast at the Dixie House in lieu of making the drive to the Arctic Circle. I will be in the parking lot at 8 and will be inside ordering breakfast at 9. So, if you don't want to go Cars & Coffee, you have an alternative site.

Just be one place or the other. We will be having roll call. JK

Chuck,

Lay off the happy juice until Saturday night. We wouldn't want you to oversleep since you are leading this expedition to another locale.

Anyone else care to chime in? I know you guys are reading this.

Brad S
Brad,
I can't promise I'll stay away from it until Saturday. I've got 2 buddies coming in from out of town Friday. They are actually in for cars/coffee from Tulsa, so I'll be there bright and early (0700) no matter how hard we tear it up on Friday night!

I know Curry will find it hard to believe, but they actually have a LONGER drive from Tulsa than he does from Arlington.

So I think we've got Me, Andy, Sean, Roger, Brad, and Alex and a few otheres in so far. I think Kohler is on the fence, I'll contact Jim Sheriden tonight. My buddy Styron coming in from is in a 2008 Z06, so I don't count him!

Looking forward to seeing y'all there.

Ok cool, sounds like some of the 928 lovers don't want admit there are other cool cars out there to look at. Maybe they will be tempted too much. JK...

Chuck, I think the phrase is "Know when to say when". We wouldn't want you to get one of those morning DWI's. I know Roger will be having a few adult beverages but he always shows up. Lately he is looking slimmer too. Which makes me look bad. Do me a favor Roger, don't talk about the boot camp in front of my wife. I had enough of that in the Army.

Have you decided where we meet at 7?

We'll meet at 7am to get spots. We normally enter, (only one entrance) go all the way to the back and take a left. Park on that row.
We meet at C&C as per the above.

Sean is bringing doughnuts. I am bringing a bottle of "nouveau beaujolais" because that is a morning drink and can be served cold.

I have lost 35Lbs and a lot of inches and well on my way to my goal of 50Lbs. Feels so good to be fit!

yEAH, YEAH. We've heard that one before.

I have always said that I love driving my 928s. And, I have always gone to the GTG's in Plano, BUT, I have way too much to going on this Saturday to commit almost a whole day to a location that I don't particularly enjoy. It was good once, but I know I won't enjoy it nearly as much an additional time.
If you have not ever made a Cars & Coffee, you should go. There are lots of supernice cars. Enjoy yourselves!!!

I think I'll drag the Ferrari out. I need to put some miles on it before my daughter gets here. She loves to drive it and I want to do a shakedown first. cya 9-ish, I think I'm buying this time?

Brad,
There is only one entrance to the event. Classic BMW is at the NW corner of the Tollway and Spring Creek in Plano. Head northbound on the service road and the entrance is the very first (only) entrance just past the intersection.

Take a right into the event, go straight as far as you can go before you hit the t-bone, look to the left and that's where we will try to park. Shortly after 0700 the place will fill up FAST and you cannot really reserve spots. First come, first park.

See you there!
