Good luck with the sale. I feel for you since I'm in the same boat. Had to quit my job IT of 10 years to move down to Gainesville for the wife's new job. I have an 84 ice blue 928 and I need the extra bucks but don't want to sell it.

.02, you never know what is lurking here, CL or ebay, so I would price it w/o regard to the "R", but you have to disclose same. Plan B, I don't know your finances, but just playing with numbers, and guessing that $10K is low, (and you can get 10K on a quick sale?), how much difference is 10K going to make on a down payment if you can get financing in the first place? Plan C, In the summer it's your DD. Are you going to have to replace it w/another DD? What is your DD in winter? The S4 can go year round in Fl. Sell what you drive in winter, take the loss there. You may end up w/only 5K, which may suck, but you get to keep the S4.

Hmm. This sounds like a car in pretty good shape. If you want to replace it will cost more than +/- USD 11'000 we are thinking it might be worth.

From your early posts, it sounded like you might be here a while. GLWS though. 928s seem to be relatively common down in Florida (based on cars for sale), so you could always pick up another one in the future.

Not to mention, if you checked out my early posts, you probably have seen me talking about the regret with not buying an S2 or S3. I just love that classic *** end. I can't get over it. I have dreams about Weissachs with giant H4's and no rub strips. I really, really want a slower, older 928. Sorry. Too much Risky Business and Weird Science when I was a kid.
