Yeah, what are you going to drive if you sell this car? Sell the other one instead.

Good luck with the sale. I feel for you since I'm in the same boat. Had to quit my job IT of 10 years to move down to Gainesville for the wife's new job. I have an 84 ice blue 928 and I need the extra bucks but don't want to sell it.

Plan C, In the summer it's your DD. Are you going to have to replace it w/another DD? What is your DD in winter? The S4 can go year round in Fl. Sell what you drive in winter, take the loss there. You may end up w/only 5K, which may suck, but you get to keep the S4.

Hmm. This sounds like a car in pretty good shape. If you want to replace it will cost more than +/- USD 11'000 we are thinking it might be worth.

From one guards red brother to another, I think you might regret a sale after in a short amount of time but certainly in the long run...

Good luck with the move though...

A lot of these types of threads popping up. It must be spring fever.

From your early posts, it sounded like you might be here a while. GLWS though. 928s seem to be relatively common down in Florida (based on cars for sale), so you could always pick up another one in the future.

No spring fever, here. Just a stressful life change, and I am afraid that I will need maximum money to make it all happen. I already have a lot saved up, but somehow fear the unavoidable incidentals popping up.

Not to mention, if you checked out my early posts, you probably have seen me talking about the regret with not buying an S2 or S3. I just love that classic *** end. I can't get over it. I have dreams about Weissachs with giant H4's and no rub strips. I really, really want a slower, older 928. Sorry. Too much Risky Business and Weird Science when I was a kid.

I don't think I've ever read that before.

Regardless you'll be moving from a 928 wasteland (Ohio), to one of the 928 (and other luxury/exotic car) hotsphots.

Your car seems like a nice example. MT cars are in short supply, but I don't think that supersedes a salvage title. How much did you pay for the car? I wouldn't expect to sell it for much more than you paid for it...
