Rear Ride Height Adjustment
Was going to raise my rear ride height. When I attempted to turn the adjusters the threaded sleeve turned on the shock. Anyone else had an issue like this? Short of clamping on it with vise grips (which I don't want to do) I don't know how you would hold it.

Let car back down again with wheel on - put spring compressors on spring (wind up a bit ??) - jack up car again - lubricate and try again !
If that does not work - repeat as above with spring wound a bit tighter ............

When I tried here, I actually pulled skin off my hands. In the end I pulled the shocks (M474 Bilsteins), had to cut the adjusters off, got the shocks rebuilt. With help from my local wrench, managed to get some 911 type agjusters to work.

When I replaced all 4 of my shocks, I had one adjuster that spun like this after it was installed on the new shock. I ended up pulling it back out and ordering a new adjuster.
Next time, I think I'll make sure that the adjusters are free of all dust/grit while off the car and before I attempt to adjust.
Definitely think a little anti-sieze goes a long way on the threads here.
