I needed to go out to Colorado this weekend. As I was leaving going east I saw a Porsche heading back west. Did'nt think too much of it but then I went another 20 miles and in the middle of nowhere I come over a hill to see Porsche's running on a track. What great timing. I stopped for a few hours but did not find any rennlist guys. Only 1 968 and 1 928 and maybe 8 944's. The 968 was just pulling out as we arrived. He was making a loud fan noise. I would have loved to talk to him but I did not get the chance. Talked to the 928 guy. He had a 83 OB. I am glad I finally got to see what one of the club events are like and hope to get to one again sometime soon. I really do need to join the Porsche club.

I really should have bought a damn lottery ticket this weekend. This is also an absolute coincedence but I really can't believe I put this fluke post just randomly at 928 on the clock. I guess the Porsche god's are talking to me.

LOL! I was president of the local PCA region once upon a time! VP before that for 4 years and Concours chair for 7 years! Take some 928 friends and TAKE OVER your local region of PCA! Make it a safe and fun place for ALL Porsche owners as opposed to just a club for the 911 guys as it has become in so many regions (though fewer regions are that way than a decade or two ago thanks to the Cayenne!)

I just wish I was closer to more Porsche guys period. It was fun to be around so many Porsche's at once. I did'nt just feel like a kid who just stole candy, I felt like I just stole the entire candy store.... There was one 911 Turbo wide body that I liked a lot. It was just old enough to still look very classic but new enough to look pretty damn mean.
