Default water pooling on the tailgate!any ways to avoid this?

i have 81 euro with no rear spoiler.rain water pools at the bottom corners of the rear screen.had the car repainted last year and paint was gone from this area before.any way to avoid this without keeping the car in the garage all the time?is it just a design thing.(water trap)

No way to avoid it. It also puddles in the lower 1/4 window rubber trim and rusts.

thanks brutus,very annoying, i dont use the car in winter and it probably wouldnt be too bad if i was using the car every day but at the moment its outside with the seats out for recovering in leather and mother nature is doing her "april showers" big time here.just thought there might be a miracle cure for this one.

helps to clean out the dirt mud that builds up in the channel so it will dry out quicker when you drive faster !
