Default All Aluminum 928???

I have a car listed in my area as an all aluminum bodied 928 in poor shape. If this is one of the all aluminum cars, is it worth anything?

AFAIK the only all aluminum 928 is in the museum in Stuttgart. The seller local to you is likely confused.

I doubt any of these were ever sold to the public. They were built for research, and did not just have thicker body panels made of aluminum, they also had a different front suspension. If you ever get to the Porsche factory, look under the front of the all aluminum bodied 928, and you'll see the difference.

There are just as many 928 ads claiming 4 wheel steering and all wheel drive.

Because "S4" on the 928 is equivalent to "4S" on the Carrera...

Take a magnet with you and when it sticks to the body just tell him its that new super aluminum alloy that they made magnetic at the factory must be worth three times as much as a regular 928

Don't you think he is merely referring to the press on the fact that hood, doors and front fenders are alu? And he didn't know the hatch is steel. I didn't know there is an actual all-alu in the museum.
