Default Parting out a 87 928 S4

Hi guys,

I'm parting out a 87 928 S4 that had an engine fire. I'm keeping the engine and trans (option 220 as backups but below is a website with pictures of what I have removed and cleaned so far. Feel free to check it out if there is anything you need.

I saved this car from the crusher so its spirit could live in other cars. Such a shame too because it had the full leather interior. I bet it was goregous when new!

Well, I didn't see it on the list, but I could really use a "Rear Air" Console, or simply the vent louvers, if available.

Are you talking about the rear AC vents between the rear seats? If so, this car didn't have that option.

Can we see pics of the interior? I'm looking for later style door panels. Would these be recoverable?

Hi BigAl,

Door panels did not make it at all. Probably about the only thing salvageable from the interior is maybe the rear seats and center console (would need to be recovered) but I have to get them out to double check.

I wasn't planning on removing it because its in pretty sad shape. I'll think about it but I'm thinking its probably more time and energy than its worth.

I'll take the headlight and all the interior screws you can manage.

Michael,

I'll see what I can dig up for interior screws but lots of that stuff is melted ove the screws so its hard to get too. Send me a email on your address and i'll see what shipping runs.

Actually removing the dash isn't hard and it would make a good core for someone.

I could use the fuel sender please!!! (in the tank)

I have removed a dash before and I thought it was rather time consuming. The problem is there is a lot of broken glass and melted plastic which makes it even more difficult to remove. Will see where I'm at at the end of the week and decide if I want to do it.
