Yes its no output from lh # 21(hope thats right) I got the trouble shooting guide for lh,ezk will pull out the trusty scope when i have a chance and see if i can fugure it out. wish the 86 s-3 lh would work on it. thanks to all,Ray

The LH gets power during cranking from the starter relay XIV. Once the engine is running and you release the ignition switch power to the LH from the starter relay drops out. At some point in the cranking/starting sequence the LH grounds its pin #21 to complete the circuit and energize the pick-up coil in relay XXV, closing the relay contacts and providing 12V power to the LH unit.
