Required fuel settings correct? Up the fuel on the VE map. Remember it'll always run rich, won't run if it's too lean. Do you have the ignition locked in at a set degree?

Checked, cannot find your thread on MS site. Is it on MSRuns or the main forum?

May PM or Email the guy in this thread to see what his base settings were/are, maybe tweaked a bit for your specifics.

Jake, Might I suggest you start a new thread about it not running? Some of us have been following this thread for some time, but perhaps a new thread would get a wider audience.
Of course it would be nice to update this thread when you get it resolved. Just a thought.

Key things i have learned so far.

Set Cam sensor to "falling" not rising. signal is crisp
Turn the Crank R52 potentiometer 6 turns CW to even out the signal (prob end up adding a 1K resistor later as well for high RPM signal)
make sure the damn MAP connection is hooked up :-P

Cranks sensor signal is all good, but now the cam sensor throws out a signal when it should not, causing a sync loss on cold start.

today i kept trying and she started up after a few tries. and no issues..... Hmmmmmmmm

thoughts?

^^^^ ya, all a lie. cam sensor still hates me and im having cold start issues with it. i keep getting and errant cam signal on start up. once is gets "running and warm" it seems to iron its self out and be a good boy.

no matter how much i read on the MS forums and try to under stand this tuning stuff, the more i realize i might have bit off more then i can chew i guess.

now im not giving up at all, but i need to sit back, and think more. And of Fly Colin down and throw him at it.

A quick thought happened - they do sometimes. Maybe the CAM timing vs Crank is changing slightly as the engine warms up. Could be the CAM signal is too close to the Crank signal and is being "drowned out" when the engine is cold, but has enough separation between signals when warm? A quick trial would be to shift the CAM trigger wheel just slightly, adjust the CAM degree in the software, and try again.
