Its not frame...
I'm just surprised it lined up with anything on the 928. Half the time I'm driving around I feel like if I slid or the other guy kept going I'd get run over!

The insurance company for the at fault driver is only going to see the value of the S-4 based on it just being an old car and will likely use an actual cash value that is far below what it would cost to replace a nice car. So Hagerty should be much involved in the process and may make the settlement and then collect from the other Insurance company and or driver.
The question of personal injury is often a motivation for the insurance company to reach a favorable settlement which is why many will get documented medical and physical therapy started just in case.

I had my laptop in the car with me, it was thrown aginest the passanger seat, the hard-drive is destroyed, the geeks are gonna see if they can download my files. So I'm on a new PC.

My car doesn't look to bad. Mostly the rear bumper, pulled the wing away from the mount on the right side, and the right rear fender is pinched outward, plus the bumperetts are broken. I was slammed pretty hard and dazed, so they transported me to the UMC trama center. Checked all the gear in my right leg from being crushed 5 years ago. Today I feel fine, at 69, that's good.

I'm more worried about my car, and finding a competent shop to do a detailed appraisal of the damage. I haven't a clue about a shop here in Vegas, any suggestions?

BTW, I was alone in the car. Really glad Dee was home. Thanks for asking!

Still waiting to hear from the appraiser, the police had it towed to the impound yard, so I don't know if it was flatbedded. I'll keep you all posted.

Be sure to check the rear suspension flat plate spring arms and the front tierods, often tow truck drivers not familiar with 928s hook to the wrong parts and cause damage. You also should get it out of impound ASAP before more damage and theft happens there plus their storage fees are quite high.

Bummer, give yourself a couple of days to be sure of no injuries, and take your time setteling with the insurance company.

Ouch . glad there were no serious injuries. Curious if you had your spare in the back and bolted down. I believe I read this adds to the rear crash protection for the car.

That said, that much energy (crash) is bound to have damaged some soft tissue in your back or body. Do not be too quick to dismiss any new pains or injuries you may have. As far as the insurance offer, I would get a list of locally available (and ebay) Cars of similar years and condition to use in-case they try to low-ball you.

Best of luck to a speedy recovery.

Also glad there were no serious injuries- esp since I am also 69 (until next month) and drive the same car! But I agree completely with the above- do not say "I'm fine". Not yet, not for a good long while. Your settlement from the idiot may in part depend on this.

Glad you're ok, could have turned out much worse.
I wish you luck and hopefully can find another shark soon.
