Last month for 3.6. Mostly fixes cold starting which I could not test for when 3.5 (which you have) was released. Some air temp compensation tweaks, and a 91 octane version.
Cold starts have a new higher idle (varies by coolant temp), like what L-Jet does, which works quite well. (Clears out fuel condensation.) It may sound simplistic, but I can start my auto dead cold, throw it in gear, and it drives great. Another 'better than stock' experience.

I never have any problems with cold starts. Not sure what chip version I'm on. Part of it is probably that we really haven't had many days below freezing here this winter. But 20s and 30s are cold enough to cause problems if there were going to be any, right?
I've been in the 'chip-of-the-month' club since the beginning and it's been a noticeable improvement with each one. I think I'll wait until the end of the summer to check and see if this 'final' version is really the final one. My car loves the chips/TQ rings/FPR combo with my x-pipe and I hope I get a chance to do a DE or even just an autocross this year. My car is just a blast to drive.

ok, I gotta get rid of the AA's that I've had for several years now & get Ken's chips(and all the other improvements too). If Ken's are that much improved over the AA's I can't wait. Interesting how the other month someone could not hardly give away their AA chips, I wonder why!!
Great to own classic cars where there are are so many active smart people to make them even better!

Hey, MGW_FLa, I think you won't believe the difference. It has something to do with the mid-range fuel map. He discusses the differences in another thread where he is providing his files for those who are going to shakrtune etc...
BTW, I love those wheels in your avatar. Is there any way you could send me some more pics. Mabye sideways and little bigger. They look pretty awsome in that pic. If you can send them, please send them to my yahoo email fbarnhilll@yahoo.com. Thanks, I am looking at wheels some time down the road and there are not many that I like. I love the Fikis's but don't have the $$$ for those. What are the ones you have on that car?
Also, Ken, I guess my first start was a cold start issue because she idled up a little for about 30 seconds and then settled down just beautifully. Also, you are probably about the fpr as the car stunk up the garage badly when first running. If anyone needs it, I have an adjustable FPR that I purchased first and was replaced during my no-start issue that is a 3'rd party one. I will find out the name and post but it is just beautifull. Looks like a piece of jewlry.
Cheers,

I tell ya, if I didn't have to get the daughter a car in the next couple of month, I'd be on the look out for an '85/86.5 5-speed. I'm a pretty spoiled guy getting to drive every iteration of these cars. After driving Irishlegends car last weekend I'm going to have to get one, won't even care if it is black on black. ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Brian, yes, '87 FPR, chips and those snake oil rings you will be set.
