Driver side seat stuck

Driver side seat stuck
I moved the driver seat all the way up and now it will not move at all. I changed the fuse and it is still not moving. Is the motor dead? Anyone ever dealt with this issue?

Listing the model year of your car in your signature is very helpful for those trying to help.
So, what year is your car?
How many functions of the seat are working?
Is the passenger seat working?
Do you have memory on your seats?

It's a 1988 928 S4, nothing on the driver's side works, it does not move at all, none of the buttons work, does not move foward backward or up or down. The passenger side works perfectly, no problems on the passenger side.
While I was trying to figure out what the problem was, I accidentally put the key to my other 928 into the ignition and now the key is stuck because I put the wrong key in the ignition. I am having a day for the ages. I have 3 928's, I took the key from one 1988 and accidentally put it into the ignition of the other 1988 928, how do I release the key? They key is jammed in there good and it won't move, I cannot turn the cylinder back to the left to release it, it is stuck somewhere mid way to the starting point. Wow, someone really hexed me today. Please help, thanks

Can't help you with the key, but I can try and help you with the seat.
I would still like to know if you have memory on the driver's seat.
Based on your first post and what you were doing before the seat stopped working, my first check would be the main connector between the seat and the car. If the wires got caught on something, when you raised the seat to maximum you could have pulled the plug.

You have one main harness coming from the seat, going to the floor of the car.
About in the middle of the seat.
There is another thin harness terminating in a 2 prong plug, that is the seat best receptacle. You are looking for a larger rectangular black plug.
