Well.....it's a lot faster than the 82 Vette.

0-60 in the low 6's
1/4 mile in the 14's.

Lot's of bolt on goodies available too.

The turbo Volvo's will surprise you. Stock they run around 235ish HP. A simple chip and exhaust and they can be pushing 300...
I've got a 97 850 R wagon..240hp factory...1/4 mile times similar to a stock 87S4 AT...low 14's...

But...it's front wheel drive...and you've got rear wheel....I think stock for stock 86.5 vs S70..you'll take him.

the volvo can make silly power pretty easily....so be wary....if it is modified, then you "could" be in trouble....since most street events are all about drag racing.....turbos are hard to beat....

assuming a good launch you will get the holeshot....and should do well.....it all depends on how much the turbo is turned up in the S70 to see who crosses 1320 1st....

But once again....add in some turns and driver skill......things will be very different....I don't see many volvos on track and don't even consider them "kills".....honestly I don't even count corvettes anymore either....if its not a GTR, Ferrari, GT3 or 911 turbo I really don't notice anymore when I pass them
