Thanks for the complements guys. The 928 is basically finished for now. Jon the owner should be in Sydney to pick it up and take it for its first 1000Km run. We have hundreds of pictures of the work carried out so far. I will be sure to get some pictures of the car outside before it leaves.

Its a parallel flow that we use. We, actually Bruce is the man that made all the custom lines and new hydraulic fittings to and from the condenser. We use a rebuilt compressor. New liquid line hose, new compressor hoses, new TX valve and evap switch. When we do AC system refurbs we don't leave anything untouched. That way we know the customer will have no troubles for years to come. We even do a few wiring / relay mods to protect the 928 573 060 08 control unit . We only use R134a. and we get great results. on a 30 degree(86 Fahrenheit) day our average temperature at the centre vent is 8 deg cel .

TIA..

thanks for the A/C info....your condenser looks very close to the one Dan posted on my A/C thread... Might just go that route with the 134..

Hi Dave , the shocks are genuine Porsche ( New ) Boge sport , this is what they came with , and can only be purchased from Porsche.

The inlet manifolds and twin cam cam covers ( rocker covers) we send to HPC ( High Performance Coatings) to get the magnesium alloy components stripped , chemically treated / stabilized and finished in their " appearance coatings " in silver , which happens to be as close a shade of silver they were new.
The inside of the manifolds & the underneath of the cam covers we get done in their DF2 " non wettable matrix coating "

Thanks Bruce ... I appreciate you providing me with the info. It will save me a lot of grief to send my parts to them, instead of trying to find someone competent here. I found one of the best wheel re finishers in the north of Tas, and he did a better than factory finish on my Cup 2's, but didn't want to play russian roulette with my manifolds and cam covers.
